Dwarf Dianthus (Dianthus caryophyllus) offers a hardy, striking colour option that thrives in the harsh summer heat. Dianthus are an excellent instant colour option for use in beds, borders and containers – great in sunny rockeries too.

These low growing plants produce a mass of  delicate flowers in vivid reds, pinks and white. They grow best in full sun and need good drainage.
